Are you having an awesome day?0:06Not, how are you doing today?0:08No. Are you having an awesome day?0:10Which is pretty shitty,0:12because it puts the onus on me to disagree with her.0:14Like, if I'm not having an awesome day,0:16suddenly I'm the negative one.0:18Usually when people ask how I'm doing,0:20the real answer is, I'm doing shitty.0:21But I can't say I'm doing shitty,0:23because I don't even have a good reason to be doing shitty.0:25So if I say, I'm doing shitty,0:27then they say, why? What's wrong?0:28And I have to be like, I don't know, all of it.0:31So instead, when people ask how I'm doing, I usually say,0:34I am doing so great.0:36But when this girl at the Jack in the Box asked me if I was having an awesome day,0:40I thought, well, today, I'm actually allowed to feel shitty.0:42Today, I have a good reason.0:44So I said to her, well, my mom died.0:46And she immediately burst into tears.0:48So now I have to comfort her, which is annoying.0:51And meanwhile, there's a line of people forming behind me0:54who are all giving me these real judgy looks0:55because I made the Jack in the Box girl cry.0:57And she's bawling and she's saying, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.1:00And I'm like, it's fine, it's fine.1:02I mean, it's not fine, but, you know, it's fine.1:05And I would like to order a double jack meal.1:07And I've kind of got somewhere to be,1:09so maybe less with the crying and more with the frying, huh?1:12And the girl apologizes again.1:14And she offers me a free churro with my meal.1:17And as I'm leaving, I think, I just got a free churro because my mom died.1:22No one ever tells you when your mom dies, you get a free churro.1:27Anyway.
